Photos shoot in Leeds 17th March
I hired a Vivitar 35mm film camera from college and bought a
36 exposure roll of colour film for the assignment.
My tutor had already got permission for us to take
photographs in the Leeds Trinity Centre.
We met as a group at 10.30 at Leeds City station and then
set off with other students to photograph in the Trinity Centre.
I had planned to take photographs of the interior of the
Centre. I photographed the glass roof which I found interesting. In different areas
of centre the light changed dramatically as clouds outside passed over the sun.
I also went up to the top floor and took photographs of different restaurants.
There is a lot of restaurants and cafes in the Trinity Centre which are usually
very busy and excellent for capturing different aspects of life.
On leaving the Trinity Centre I took photographs of
exteriors of buildings on Boar lane. Some of these buildings are very old, but
others were built much later and give examples of contrast between new and old.
I prefer the character which comes with many older buildings.
